Hawthorn Hammerheads Youth Swim Team

About the Hammerheads
The Hawthorn Hammerheads Swim Team program at HFAC is an opportunity for swimmers to develop their strokes and skills year round. We are a club swim team that competes in local mini swim meets in the summer season.

The requirements to join the Hammerhead Swim Team are swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke for a total of 50 yards non-stop, tread water for 2 minutes, and demonstrate basic knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly.

Dates and Practice Schedule:
Swimmers generally attend two practices a week, though swimmers may attend as many or as few practices as they choose during months in which they are enrolled.

Practices are held Tuesday-Thursday from 5:30-630pm and Saturdays 10:00-11:00am

Pricing:
Member: $99 per month + $25 Annual Registration Fee
Non-Member: $149 per month + $25 Annual Registration Fee

*Pricing is based on the swimmer’s membership status, not the parent/guardians. Non-member youth participants must have a parent/guardian who is an active member. Not a member yet? Contact membership@hfac.com.

Ready to join the team? Fill out the Hawthorn Hammerheads Online Registration Form! Once enrolled on the Hammerheads Swim Team, swimmers remain on the team until a Withdraw Form is submitted.
