Youth Camp FAQ — HFAC Hillsboro
Do you provide snacks?
For full day summer camp, HFAC will provide 2 small snacks each day. We ask that parents provide their campers with a full lunch each day.
What is your policy on electronics?
HFAC camps are screen-free, please keep your electronics at home.
Should I bring a life jacket?
We ask that parents please provide life jackets for their camper(s). Beginner swimmers or children who cannot swim are required to always wear a life jacket. HFAC staff will be both directly in the water with campers and supervising from the pool deck.
Can I drop off earlier than the Camp Start time?
You may not drop off campers more than 30 minutes before the start of full day Summer Camp, under no circumstance should campers be left in the building unsupervised. Parents are to come into the building and drop children off into direct care of HFAC staff.
Do you provide aftercare?
Camp aftercare is available from 4-6 PM for $14/hour, and will be billed in 30 minute increments. Please communicate with our staff if you plan to use aftercare. We appreciate advance reservations so we can staff appropriately.
What is your policy on late pick ups?
Campers who have not been picked up by 10 minutes after Camp will be automatically checked into Aftercare. The rate is non-negotiable. If you pick up your camper 15 minutes after camp has ended, you will be charged for 30 minutes of aftercare.
What is your refund policy?
Camps are non-refundable after 3 days from the purchase date.
Do we have to purchase a camp t-shirt?
It is required that campers wear the HFAC camp t-shirt while attending camp. Each camper will receive one t-shirt prior to the start of camp. Additional camper shirts will be available for purchase prior to the start of camp.
Additional Camp details will be provided within 30 days of the camp start date. For any questions, please email camps@hfac.com.
