SALES PROFESSIONAL
- Provide high-quality needs analyses for potential Members.
- Provide high-quality tours of the overall Member Experience, connecting potential individual, couple, or family Members with the in-person as well as new virtual & hybrid amenities.
- Assist new & potential members in thinking about SMART goals. Get them connected to the HFAC team members & amenities who can further their journey.
- Know how to use & demonstrate usage of HFAC fitness equipment, group exercise classes & a full range of Member experiences.
- Educate, uphold & enforce policy in new & existing Members contributing to the strength of HFAC’s culture & business ethics.
- Have a “boots on the ground” mentality in generating new leads that fit HFAC’s key demographic targets.
- Be skilled at closing sales maintaining consistency with HFAC’s emphasis on long-term member satisfaction.
- Conduct all administrative, paperwork & other duties of the position with attention to detail & personal accountability.
- Maintain warm, ongoing professional relationships to support long term member retention.
- Approach the position with a growth mindset, furthering HFAC’s commitment to on-the-job training. Understand the core knowledge base of the position. Seek to continually improve.
INFLUENCER + TEAM MEMBER
- Interact with others with enthusiasm, professionalism, kindness, &expertise, whether colleague or customer, in-person, online, on the phone, one-on-one, in a group, or any setting.
- Be an integrated “Whatever is needed” member of the team, able to jump into the front desk, cleaning, working events, completing a report or some other duty.
- Handle concerns & challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

- Be a confident, success-driven professional.
- Work well with with all fitness levels, ages, casual or corporate settings, in a manner consistent with HFAC’s commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion.
- Work a regular schedule that includes evening &weekend hours. HFAC culture promotes long-term tenure, work-life balance and employee well-being in large part by having an invested, supportive & flexible team that works together in meeting the overall needs of the business.
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL &ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS
- Experience or willingness/ability to learn social media presence, such as informational video shorts, posts, or blogs.
- Experience or willingness/ability to learn Microsoft word, excel, Club Automation, and other business software.
- Follow company guidelines on professional communications, including text, email & social media management.
- Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs & products.
EXPERIENCE & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of previous sales experience is preferred but not required. HFAC will train a candidate who is the right overall fit.
- 2+ years of successful work experience in a professional setting is required.
- CPR / AED certification (can be provided by HFAC)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
