Ready to build strength, move better, and pick up tips from expert trainers? HFAC’s 2025 Fitness Workshops offer monthly, hands-on sessions designed to improve your technique, boost your confidence, and support your goals — all led by certified trainers right here at your local Hillsboro fitness club.
These one-hour fitness workshops are free for HFAC members and take place in our newly redesigned Conference Room. You’ll get expert coaching on topics like injury prevention, proper lifting technique, active recovery, and daily movement strategies that support long-term wellness. No sign up required – just drop on by!

Flexibility Workshop: How to Stay Mobile
September 14 | 3:00-4:00pm
Mobility matters whether you’re lifting, running, or just moving through daily life. In this session, Lead Trainer, Ty Holbrook, will guide you through flexibility techniques that help improve range of motion, reduce stiffness, and keep your body moving with ease. Walk away with simple tools to stay limber, prevent injury, and feel better in your workouts and beyond.
Treadmill Trivia Night
October 30 | 6:00–7:00pm
Walk, jog, or run while putting your brain to the test in this fun and interactive cardio session. Work up a sweat and team up with fellow members for a chance to win prizes during this one-of-a-kind fitness event.
Burn the turkey
November 27 | 9:30–10:30am
Give back & get moving at our annual Thanksgiving tradition! This circuit-style workout is for all levels and is the perfect way to energize your holiday morning. The session also serves as a canned food drive for the Century High School Collective—simply bring a canned food item for entry. Members are welcome to bring guests for this fun, cause-driven event. Please reserve your spot for our planning purposes.
